Saturday, December Something...

We drove up North to get at some snow a couple weeks ago. We came across this little rail in a park and decided it would be very fun, so we played on it all day. Enjoy.

Last Day in O Town

Our last day in Ottawa was pretty awesome. We didn't plan to go back that day, but Brody and Beebe both got worked and Ashbee was already sore from a bail the day before. It was still a good day though, a few of us got some shots and Jake got a pretty sweet banger. Here are some photos from the day.

Colab 1

Jordan from Footy Fiend and I decided to do a little colab video. He filmed two days, one on Blackcomb and one on Whistler. We were gonna make one giant edit, but decided to make two instead. Here is the first, Enjoy!

Game On

Horseshoe is opening tomorrow! (Dec 8th) So all ya'll back in Ontario better get your snowboard gear outta the closet and send some laps this week! Been Busy!

Snowiest November Ever

Its officially official. This is the snowiest November in Whistler, ever. It has only been open a week and their base is already around the same as it was at the end of last season. I am sure you can all understand that because of that, there haven't been any posts in the last couple of days. I have at least been taking some photos and thanks to Jordan over at Footy Fiend, we have a little video to throw up as well. This has been the best week we have ever had in Whistler. There has been over a foot of snow every single day since it has opened. Check out these groovy photos featuring some of the gang hanging out on the mountain and in the village.


Gil was hiding from the camera because she doesn't allow photos to be taken in Starbucks... This was the best photo I got...

This was Jordan and Jake's first run of the day, November 19th...


This was the same day I am pretty sure, but we can't know for sure... Jake Fine, Andrew Burns, Lucas Ouellette and Alex Beebe deep in the powder.

Whistler Day Four

Last night we got 41cm... On our first ride we cruised down an untouched run with an enormous amount of pow on it. To our surprise though, there were giant trees fallen over everywhere! When we were going up the lift, the glades were destroyed by fallen over trees... I guess there were 120km/h gusts the night before which caused total chaos. It still didn't stop us from having the best day yet. We ran into Andrew Burns and he took us into some trees which were so good that we stayed there almost all day long. Around lunchtime we ended up with Chris Rasman and Wiley Tesso who showed us some sweet backflip spots... We ended the day with hit run and then straight under the Whistler Gondola all the way to Mid-Station. Check out the video for some captured events!

Whistler Day Two

Woke up this morning to a nice little surprise of 15cm of fresh snow. Eric and Scot Brown came by to the 6137 house and we all headed over to the Whistler gondola. We were lucky enough to get up there pretty quick and got some first tracks down to red chair. It started getting super windy and cold halfway through the day so we took some longer laps down Hit Run. It was another amazingly epic day. Here are some sweet photos...

Whistler Opening Day

So I decided to come out to Whistler for the opening weekend... and probably a week or two after as well haha... Today was a really amazing day. We headed into the village at about 6 a.m. to get a nice spot in line for some fresh snow. We were expecting quite a bit of snow so everyone was super stoked! There ended up being way more snow then we thought so we didn't film a whole lot, but you can check out this little edit I made and also some super sweet photos from the day!

F@!K Winnipeg

First off, I would like to apologize for not have been publishing any new posts lately. Anyways, Andrew Skelhorn and I left Whistler on the 31rst of August and were heading towards Ontario. We made it to Millenium Park (Calgary) at 4 a.m. or something like that. We skated for a couple hours before we continued on to Winnipeg. We kept driving until we hit Winnipeg at about 10-10:30. We met up with our good pal Jake Kuzyk at the plaza for a little more skateboarding action. The lightin wasn't very good but we made the best of it for a half hour or so until we decided to go get some food before we kept on with our journey. We go back to the parking lot to get some cash from the truck and its gone... It seems that Winnipeg is a prime area for stealing cars full of possesions since it is basically the halfway point of the Trans Canada Highway. Luckily, we were still with Jake and he offered us his home for 3 days until we figured out a way to fly home with no ID. Huge thanks to the Kuzyk family for being awesome and loving.

Luckily the only thing I had with me skateboarding was my camera, so do not fear, PeachHat will live on! But first I need to get a new charger and cable for uploading... Stay tuned for lots of footage and photos from this journey...

Skate Squamish

Jon Versteeg called me yesterday at about 1 o'clock asking me if I wanted to go skate Squamish. He came and picked Dfed and myself up along with Luke and Gabe. We got caught in a bunch of lame construction which sucked because we had to be back by 4 so Jon could get to work. We ended up getting to Squamish at 2:30, which didn't leave much time for skating, so we made the best of our time. Check it out!

The Culvert

So one of our friends, Keelan, had some pictures of this epic spot that resides somewhere in Whistler. He wouldn't tell us where it was, but he said he would show us. Before he had the chance to show us, Neil, DFed, and myself went on a walk and ended up randomly finding the spot. We were super stoked and convinced a bunch of people, as well as Keelan, to go back the next day and have some fun! The adventure includes Neil Young, David Hull, Kenny Larose, Scotty Shnieder, Joel Finkbeiner, Mitch Reynolds, Pat Brobeck, Matts Kuli, Cheese Cake, Jon Versteeg and myslef (Sorry if I left anyone out). Chill on The Hill

Nestea put on this event up on Whistler that consisted of some winter activities and some summer activities. Unfortunately for Neil and I, we left our snowboards on Blackcomb. We had to wake early and go all the way up Blackcomb, back down to the peak 2 peak and then take that across to Whistler. We walked through the beach volleyball courts and past the main concert stage up to the area where they had setup some rails for us to play on. It ended up being super fun until they kicked a bunch of people off so they could have a contest. Neil and Dfed poached the contest and killed it while I filmed. There will be a video of it up shortly!! Anyways, check out some photos from the event.

Since snowboarding is over, for the most part, we have been traveling to a bunch of different lakes to hang out at and have some fun! The other day we went up to Logger's Lake and I brought my camera along to capture the awesomeness. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did!!

So while I was snowboarding the other day, my roomate comes up to me and tells me that she has some bad news. I told her to tell me and she says, "Not right now, I don't wanna ruin your life..." haha. I made her tell me anyway and it seems to be that someone who was at my house that day had spilt water onto my computer. I was not too worried about it and tried to let it dry. After a few attempts at making it work for longer then 10 minutes, it will now only keep restarting as soon as I hit that little power button. Basically I am telling you that there will be a shortage of episodes until I can get down to Vancouver.

BUT, There will be some 6137/PeachHat Colabs coming up and I will be posting them on here, so keep checking to see whats going on!

Black Park & Whistler

So this video takes place over a few days. I was planning on making them each into their own episode, but why not combine them into one super video? So thats exactly what I did. It was a pretty fun week and there are some new friends and my good friend James was in town, on break from school, to get in on the action. Whistler park is supposed to close on Sunday I hear, so there should be at least one more video by Monday. Also, super humans Tyler Ashbee and Stephen Powling (PH) are venturing to Whistler from Ontario for a couple weeks so be prepared for some awesome fun times captured on camera... Enjoy!

Finally we made another episode! Luckily I ran into Matt Munn (www.meat-magic.blogspot.com) at Seymour on sunday. He set me back on track and I will now be making videos more then once a month again! Completely Random

This episode is basically our first four or five runs at Kirby (Oshawa Ski Club). The resort is very small, but the park is packed full of fun jibs. We rode all night, except once the light died it was hard to film because the lights on the hill are pretty crappy. Anyways, this episode is shorter like the last couple but a little different. I got bored and decided to change it up a bit.. possibly spicier? You tell me...

Horseshoe's Private's

So Brody, Jake and myself got off a plane to Toronto and picked up by some of the finest young men in Ontario. Smolik, PH and Ashbee. We instantly hopped on the highway up to Horseshoe Valley Resort (except for Jake cuz he would rather go hang out with a girl) where we met up with a bunch of friends and had a little late night session. We didn't film too much because we were having a great time being back in Ontario with our friends, but I hope you like what you see!
