Out & About

We recently took another trip outside the city to some snow. We got a few shots, a few bails and alot of good times. We had another awesome crew and a great host letting us crash on the floor.


We made a mess in Jake's house. Luckily we were not there long enough for Karen to see.

Brody sessioned this little QP for a long time. He killed it.

Westbeach throws this contest once a year sometime in the spring. Usually around the Telus festival, but nobody knows when it takes place until a day or two before it all goes down. We just came across Brocklebank's edit... A little late but whatever. Stathis came out on top!

No Snow in Toronto

Brody, Jake, Will and Myself (Beebe) all met up at Tyler's and headed on our first "trip" of the season. Since we don't have any snow in the city, it looks like we will be forced to do alot of driving this season, AGAIN.

Resort Time

Another edit from Steve Powling, who is, the Horseshoe Resort filmer. Some tricks you have already seen I am sure, but there are some new ones in there too!

Ashbee's Birthday

December 11th, 1986 was the day Tyler Ashbee was born. December 11th, 2010 was the day Tyler and all of his friends set out to Horseshoe Resort to do some snowboarding and have some fun. The park is still pretty small but we made the best of our day out there.



Afterwards, we headed back to Brody's house and had some drinks. Most of us were taking it easy in the hot tub while Tyler was downstairs drinking lots of beer. He wanted to drink a 24 on his 24th. Good friends Taylor Ricci and Zach Gibson ruined that plan by supplying him with a 26 of Jager and a nice bottle of champagne. Here are some photos and a video from Ezra of the shenanigans...

Steve and Lucas at Arena Snowparks have been super busy this fall. They are building a bunch fo new features for Whistler/ Backcomb this season. Here is a sneak peak of what they have been working on...

These are some good kids that will do anything to snowboard at anytime of the year. They are fully devoted to snowboarding and it is sweet to see how much they progress in such a short time span. Jordan and Colin, the founders of 9Ohh5, finished highschool last june and decided to make the move to Whistler. Here is their first, of what is sure to be many, videos from Whistler. Enjoy!

Horseshoe resort opened today! We are stoked we can finally ride everyday again. Be sure to get over here this season, the place is going to be crazy! We got dumpsters to jib, down rails, kink rails, boxes and whatever else you could imagine. Even rumors of a concrete feature thanks to KingSnow Magazine! Come get some...

Ok so we know its not snowboarding, but we just finished this video from our trip to Bali and thought some of you might like viewing it. Its half a video, half slideshow so be patient and enjoy! Footy Fiend has a new edit! Some of our good friends, Keenan Filmer and Brennan Kurchak, recently moved to Colorado for the winter season. They live right smack dab in the middle of Breck and Keystone. Cody went out to visit them and get some riding in before Whistler opens up this friday! This edit really makes us want to snowboard, and since most of us are in Ontario for the season, we still have a few weeks to go...

Vacation

We really apreciate everyone showing their love and support for us over the last two season's. All though it may seem like our whole life is a vacation, and who are we kidding it pretty much is, Jon Versteeg, Brody Pigeau, David Hull and myself (Alex Beebe) are going on vacation. We are going to this place...

For almost two months. I am not entirely sure how much computer time we will be having, so don't expect alot of updating or videos or anything like that. However, when we return, everyone will be able to watch the new PeachHat movie. Probably around the 1st of November. We will also hopefully be making a giant edit from our entire trip to Indo. Just to get you all excited, rewatch both of the teasers everyday while we are gone.

Culvert Session

This year, when we went back to the culvert, the water was way colder and rushing out faster then we have seen before. It gave us a great idea to try and make a little surf spot. Our old camera broke and we didn't buy a new one until the water had slowed down again but here is a little edit of our time at this spot.

Hello Summer

This years May long weekend was your last chance to catch some turns up on Blackcomb until the Glacier opens for the summer. May 24th, to be exact, was the last day of riding and also, Max Fine's birthday. Luckily he brought up his camera up to catch some of the on-hill action. Late Spring on Blackcomb

Max Fine wanted to make his own PeachHat episode but his camera died after a few short runs. Luckily we had ours up the mountain and we were able to continue to film. It was a very warm Spring day which made for a hell of alot of fun. However, as you will see at the end of this edit, Beebe took quite the spill and is now out for who knows how long. This could possibly mean that there will be minimal edits before the end of the season (May 24th). Hopefully Max will recharge his batteries and get some footy for another edit. In the meantime, check out our Late Spring episode from Blackcomb!

Spring on Blackcomb

Grenade Games is Over!

Back in Whistler

After some technical difficulties, we finally got this video up and running. We shot this the other day mainly in Whistler park on a mellow pow day. We had a pretty big crew throughout the day which made for some good snowboarding. Enjoy

Whistler

Finally, most of us have all made it back to Whistler and are having one hell of a time. Today there was 15cm, but we were all pretty stoked on hitting the park instead of the wet snow. There will be an edit coming very soon, but ya'll can check out these photos in the meantime.
