Board

Dead season drags on in Whistler. It is very boring, and there is nothing to do. My amigos and I basically sit around our house and watch movies (When we are not at working). Today we have watched 3 movies so far. After making a trip to the Movies Gallery in Nester's to buy more movies, Kea and I made our way home to join Nikki and watch August Rush. We only caught the last 3/4 but it was super good and now I want to buy it. After that we watched Fool's Gold, and are now watching Never Back Down (Which stars THIS BABE!). So that is basically my night. Now all we have to do is wait for some snow to fall so we can watch less movies and start doing more snowboarding.

Batman Attacks

So, Nikki, Jake and I were all watching 88 Minutes and all of the sudden, Jake #2 (the cat) starts freaking out. I look to see what is going on and there is something flying around the dining room. My first reaction is "What the fuck is Jake doing? THERES A BIRD IN THE HOUSE!"....Human Jake then corrects me, " ITS A BAT!"... After about 5 minutes of running around and trying to get the bat out, it decided to fly upstairs into my room with cat Jake shortly following. We all ran upstairs just to catch Jake leap 5 or so feet into the air off my bed trying to eat the bat. An hour passed of trying to direct the bat out my door or my window (anywhere we could really), while trying to stay as far away from it as possible. It took some blows from a bamboo pole, a broom and lots of water from a squirt bottle. FINALLY, we had the ingenious idea to attach a bowl to the end of the broom and capture the bat. We slid it down the wall and put cardboard over the bowl, concluding to the release of the bat out my window.

A great adventure and now we are back to watching our movie.

I suggest you see it, and keep your windows and doors closed. GOODNIGHT!

What's Outside Your Frontdoor?

A couple days ago I heard that my friends from the house I used to live in had purchased a mini ramp. I called one of them and they told me that they were just putting it together. I hopped on my skate and headed down the 2 min stretch from my house to their house. Unfortunately they had to cut part of the flat because it wouldn't fit on their deck. So now its just a sketchy plywood mini ramp with super fast and close tranny. Pretty fun, but I still have not got the hang of this crazy contraption. Here is a picture I took.

Not be the same in Whistler without one, Neil Young. NY left us to go home today for what is hopefully a short time. I and everyone else in our house are going to miss the poop out of him and his apple bottom. Here are his final steps in Whistler.
